Graduated from Soochow University, China, in 2007 with B.S. and M.S. in Biochemistry. Obtained Ph.D. from Stony Brook University in 2012, trained in Peter Gergen’s lab studying transcription regulation during early embryogenesis of Drosophila. Then, moved to Paula Watnick lab in Boston Children’s Hospital studying the interaction of Vibrio cholerae with host intestine.
