Heloisa earned her B.S. in Biotechnology (2019) and Master’s Degree in Molecular Pathology (2021) from University of Brasilia, Brazil. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the Laboratory of Immunology and Inflammation at University of Brasilia, where she acquired expertise in investigating the neuroinflammatory and metabolic disturbances induced by neurotropic viruses. She was awarded with a Doctoral Dissertation Research Award from the Fulbright Program and joined Huh's lab in 2023 as a PhD visiting Student.
