Hyeyoon Shin earned her B.S.(2023)in Life Science and B.A.(2023) in Psychology from Handong University, Republic of Korea.

Previously, she worked in Prof. Kelley’s lab as a research trainee, studying the role of IL-34 in various autoimmune disease models. She joined the Huh Lab in 2022 as an intern, where she learned about the role of gut microbiota in ASD and assisted in the Germ-free facility. She is excited to return to the Huh lab to participate in more research projects looking at disease models like ALS and AD. "
