Eric is originally from Malaysia. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees at National Taiwan University and Ph.D. degree at the University of California, San Diego. His doctoral studies mainly focus on dissecting the molecular regulation of Foxp3 in regulatory T cells and exploring genetic perturbation that boosts cancer immunotherapy. Eric joins Huh's lab in 2021, and he is interested in exploring the cellular crosstalk at the intersection of immune cells, bacteria, and neurons.
