Jinsu Park earned his B.S (2014) in Genetic Engineering and Ph.D. (2020) in the Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Science and Technology from Sungkyunkwan University, Korea. During his doctoral studies, he focused on the relationship between the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and neuronal necroptosis in AD and the novel therapeutic role of O-GlcNAcylation in neurodegenerative diseases under the supervision of Dr. Dong-gyu Jo. After completing postdoctoral research training in the same lab, he joined the Huh Lab in 2021. Jinsu is interested in studying the immune-modulatory roles of the gut microbiome in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
