Sujeong obtained her B.S. (2019) in Life Sciences and Ph.D. (2025) in Biomedical Science and Engineering (BMSE) from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), South Korea. During her doctoral studies, she focused on enhancing the efficacy of cancer immunotherapy by modulating the gut microbiome and its metabolites, as well as discovering novel immune checkpoint (ICP) targets under the supervision of Prof. Hansoo Park. She then joined the Huh Lab for her postdoctoral research training.
